But what is the differentiating factor of this branch of AI that attracts the attention of researchers, journalists, academics, university students, and entrepreneurs? The advancements in this technology are something that the general population could not have imagined ten years ago: this change in perspective and possibilities indicates the acceleration of technological development in recent decades, which further enhances and popularizes access to AI models and natural language processing used by organizations for a long time. Artificial Intelligence (AI) is here to stay and expand. Moreover, few can envision the uses that society will give to it.
How far can AI go?
The ChatGPT language model, based on machine learning and deep neural networks, has put artificial intelligence into everyday discussions. This is just the beginning; in a short period of time, these systems will become increasingly advanced and will be implemented in various fields and industries. The potential is undeniable. Its ability to analyze large amounts of data and make predictions offers valuable assistance in disaster forecasting, disease diagnosis, long-term resource management, and transportation efficiency. In summary, it has greater processing capacity, speed, and computational effort.
While artificial intelligence does not have a ceiling or limit, it is still in a maturation process as certain hallucinations or inconsistencies are observed in photos or texts. That is why this technology should be considered as a complement to humans, enabling them to consult and have it at hand. This makes it possible to elevate everyone to a higher level of knowledge and homogenize corporate knowledge since everyone knows the same things by accessing the same source of information.
